About the role

We are looking for experienced conveyancers who know conveyancing inside out but feel constrained by "the way it's always been done". This is an early-stage role, so it goes beyond fee-earning. You'll play a key part in shaping our tools, procedures and compliance framework, acting as a senior colleague as the business grows.

How we work

Traditional conveyancing remains weighed down by outdated processes and unnecessary friction. We are building something different, streamlined, digital-first, and designed around how people actually want to work and transact.

Who we're looking for

A qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience, with an interest and/or strong experience in regulation and compliance/AML.
Someone comfortable working in a fully paperless environment and keen to use and improve legal technology.
Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment, with the appetite to take on supervisory and "Head of" responsibilities as Koala grows.
A practical problem-solver who doesn't just identify risk, but helps design better ways of managing it.

Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience.
